Responsibilities

• Write and edit press releases, media pitches, executive talking points, event talk tracks, briefing materials, award submissions and thought-leadership content.
• Help develop corporate narratives, proactive storylines, executive positioning, media opportunities and editorial calendars aligned with business priorities.
• Translate complex technical, product and market concepts into accessible, credible stories that demonstrate value and connect to customer outcomes.
• Create integrated brand and marketing content, including blogs, newsletters, website copy, social posts, advertising copy and campaign materials.
• Build and maintain press kits, media lists and reusable communications frameworks; coordinate reviews and approvals to keep work accurate and on schedule.
• Monitor media coverage, maintain clip reporting and analyze communications performance to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
• Support influencer, spokesperson and executive social-media programs with timely content, messaging guidance and editorial coordination.
• Partner with PR, Product Marketing, Creative, Digital, Campaigns and Go-to-Market teams to deliver cohesive communications across channels.
• Protect Vantor's editorial voice and content standards while working independently, managing competing priorities and proactively identifying opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated professional writing and editing experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, copywriting or content marketing, supported by a portfolio or work samples.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and audience-appropriate copy across formats, including media materials, executive content, web content and social channels.
• Ability to understand complex or technical subject matter, identify the strongest story and translate it into concise language tied to business or customer outcomes.
• Strong command of grammar, structure, tone and editorial consistency, with careful attention to detail and factual accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, stakeholders, reviews and deadlines while working independently and responding quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the judgment to incorporate feedback, ask effective questions and work with subject-matter experts and senior stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience developing press releases, pitches, briefing materials, talking points, award submissions or thought-leadership content in an agency or in-house communications environment.
• Experience supporting executive communications, media relations, spokesperson programs or executive social-media channels.
• Experience writing about technology, aerospace, geospatial intelligence, defense or another complex business-to-business industry.
• Familiarity with AP style, editorial calendars, content-management workflows and structured review and approval processes.
• Experience with media-monitoring, coverage-tracking or reporting tools and the ability to turn performance data into practical recommendations.
• Working knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns and how PR, digital, social, creative and product marketing content reinforce one another.
