Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts and write clear, engaging copy for a wide variety of marketing and communications projects, including articles, bulletins, and promotional materials
  • Consult with marketing representatives and subject matter experts to gather project requirements, including tone, style, audience, and length of copy
  • Manage incoming project requests through Microsoft Planner, coordinating directly with internal customers to clarify scope and expectations
  • Translate project briefs into polished, on-brand copy and prepare final content in Adobe tools for submission to the design team
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the design team, answering questions and providing guidance throughout the production process
  • Proof and review all materials to ensure they meet established quality, brand, and compliance standards before final delivery
  • Edit and rewrite copy quickly in response to feedback, revisions, or changing requirements
  • Demonstrate creativity and the ability to adapt language, voice, and tone based on audience, product, and communication channel
  • Write accurately and clearly about quantitative program information, including energy savings figures, rebate amounts, and related program benefits
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in communications, copywriting, content development, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience developing content for marketing or communications programs, not limited to business or administrative communications roles
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Prior experience working within a structured content review and production workflow is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field required
