Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produce professional photography and videography for attorneys, staff, events, donor initiatives, organizational campaigns, and media opportunities.
  • Plan, create, and edit long-form and short-form multimedia content for social media, fundraising, podcasts, websites, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to identify timely legal victories, Supreme Court developments, constitutional issues, and other newsworthy topics to develop and film compelling digital content.
  • Produce and manage podcast and video projects, including hosting, guest coordination, scheduling, recording, editing, and publication across digital platforms.
  • Design digital graphics, marketing materials, and branded assets
  • Develop promotional content, including graphics, video clips, and other digital assets
  • Coordinate and execute media days, including professional headshots, holiday campaigns, and promotional video production.
  • Maintain, organize, and manage MSLF's digital asset library, ensuring media files are properly archived and easily accessible.
  • Manage MSLF’s social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Develop creative digital campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, expand audience reach, and strengthen supporter engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, media production, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, digital media, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong photography and videography skills, including experience filming and editing professional-quality content.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or similar design and editing tools.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and developing digital campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex topics in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experience with podcast production, audio/video editing, or on-camera hosting preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
