Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications: Assist with drafting, editing, and scheduling the monthly SEAM staff newsletter and employee communications.
  • Internal Communications: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise newsletter content for clarity, accuracy, and engagement.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and implement ideas and content for employee engagement initiatives.
  • Website: Maintain and update SEAM websites, including content edits, document updates, quality assurance reviews, and accessibility checks.
  • Website: Monitor websites for broken links, formatting issues, and opportunities to improve content and user experience.
  • Website: Gather and analyze website data and prepare reports and recommendations based on the findings.
  • Editing & Graphic Support: Draft, edit, proofread, and format content for e-newsletters, the website, presentations, signage, and other communications materials.
  • Editing & Graphic Support: Design printed and digital materials, including flyers, signage, and presentations
  • Event Support & Office Coordination: Assist with event communications, volunteer sign-ups, and outreach materials
  • Event Support & Office Coordination: Maintain event tracking spreadsheets and communications planning documents

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Two years of related work experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
