Job Summary

Own the member-facing experience by combining trusted advocacy, precise service delivery, and targeted deposit/loan opportunities across channels.

  • Relationship Advocacy: guide members toward suitable products and services to drive financial success while aiming for quick first-contact resolution.
  • Service Delivery & Compliance: provide accurate product information, uphold standards and privacy, handle complex requests, and mitigate loss through referrals.
  • Member Growth & referrals: identify needs, promote deposits/loans, and connect members with appropriate partners and services.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Artfully Crafted Advocacy: focus on relationship development and recommending beneficial products and services; aim for first contact resolution; utilize tools to guide members toward financial success
  • Service Development: provide accurate information about Credit Union products and services; maintain service standards; comply with policies and regulations; maintain confidentiality and security of member information; meet or exceed scorecard expectations; collaborate with branches and support departments; maintain knowledge in all credit union programs; process detailed member requests (e.g., wires, automatic transfers); perform periodic file maintenance; assist with establishing new deposit products and services; issue, block and maintain debit/credit cards including travel notes, disputes, and fraud; identify activity that may cause loss and refer accordingly; answer basic IRA questions; respond to written member requests via multiple channels with appropriate grammar and SLAs
  • Membership Development: identify and offer deposit/loan products that suit members’ needs; assist with establishing new deposit accounts and services; promote and refer ancillary products and services; maintain existing accounts; promote and refer members to appropriate partners/team members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service with contact center skills preferred
  • Reliable and dependable transportation
  • A personal smartphone with capability of uploading latest iOS or Android versions

Preferred

  • Previous work in a financial institution is a plus
