Job Description

Responsibilities

Concept, plan, and execute short-form content for: TikTok; Instagram Reels; YouTube Shorts; Paid advertising campaigns; Develop ad-focused content concepts aligned with brand and campaign goals
Shoot high-quality commercial and ad content (on-site & studio); Handle lighting, camera setup, and production logistics; Work with models, products, and real-life scenarios
Edit high-performing ad creatives for paid media; Create strong hooks within the first 1–3 seconds; Optimize pacing for engagement, retention, conversion; Adapt editing styles based on different brands and audiences
Color correction & grading; Motion graphics & text animation (basic–intermediate); Subtitles & platform formatting; Transform raw footage into conversion-focused ad creatives
Understand what makes content convert; Iterate based on ad performance feedback; Repurpose content across multiple platforms

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Media, Film, Design, or related field)
3+ years of experience in content creation / video production
Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial & ad work
Proficiency in:
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
Ability to work on-site in El Monte, CA

Preferred

Experience in DTC brands / advertising agency / performance marketing
Experience editing paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
Familiarity with short-form content trends & platform algorithms
