Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in San Francisco, CA, for a Chief Scientific Officer at Manage.com. The Chief Scientific Officer will oversee the company’s research and development initiatives, ensuring scientific excellence, innovation, and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves leading cross-disciplinary teams, managing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The CSO will also collaborate with stakeholders to drive the strategic direction of scientific programs and research partnerships to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Research and Development (R&D) with a strong focus on innovation and industry-leading practices
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Science, Medicine, or related fields
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and the ability to oversee and enhance lab operations
- Proven track record of leading research initiatives and multidisciplinary scientific teams
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within the scientific and medical sectors
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific field; MBA is a plus
- Experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry is highly desirable
