Responsibilities

• This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Communications Officer.
• The Chief Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and overseeing strategic communication initiatives, managing press and media relations, and fostering strong corporate communication strategies.
• This role requires building effective messaging frameworks, collaborating with leadership to align communication goals with organizational objectives, and driving public relations efforts to enhance the organization's reputation.
• Additionally, the officer will guide a team of communication professionals and work closely with multi-stakeholder audiences.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Press Relations and Media Relations to effectively manage and maintain external relationships.
• Strong skills in Strategic Communications, including crafting and executing comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Excellent Communication and Corporate Communications skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner across diverse audiences.
• Leadership experience in managing teams and projects, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, as well as staying up-to-date with communication trends.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, alongside a solutions-oriented mindset.
