Catering & Local Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound catering & reservation inquiries by providing menu recommendations and delivering excellent customer service (via phone and video calls as required)
• Execute outbound catering sales initiatives, including cold email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach to offices, schools, corporations, medical groups, and event planners
• Build targeted retargeting and re-engagement campaigns for lapsed and one-time catering customers, plus seasonal pushes (holiday parties, back-to-school, graduation season, etc.)
• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth execution of catering orders and in-store reservations
• Research and identify local events – races, festivals, tournaments, farmers markets, community gatherings – for Bushfire Kitchen to sponsor, sample at, or participate in
• Partner with General Managers to plan and execute store-level marketing initiatives; coordinate and represent Bushfire Kitchen at off-site events
• Support new restaurant openings with local outreach, partnerships, and grassroots awareness efforts
• Maintain reporting systems to track the return on our marketing activities, including catering leads and revenue by source, fundraiser and event results, LSM campaign performance, and donation outcomes using a CRM
• Create simple, on-brand promotional materials in Canva, such as flyers, catering menus, fundraiser one-sheets, event signage, and in-store collateral

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Canva
• Confident communicator on the phone, over email, and in person – comfortable with sales outreach and follow-up
• Comfortable working 8am–4pm PST as core hours, with access to email on weekends for urgent order needs
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Familiarity with Hubspot CRM and Toast POS
• Background in hospitality, food service, B2B sales, or fundraising
