Collegiate School seeks a highly professional Campaign Assistant to the Chief Development Officer to serve as the strategic and administrative partner during the campaign. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this individual will provide administrative support to the campaign and serve as a welcoming ambassador for the Development Office. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, exceptional organization, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, donor-centric environment. This is a 70% (28 hours/week), 10-month non-benefited position. General responsibilities will include: * Supports the Chief Development Officer with campaign management and administrative duties, including but not limited to (90%): * Prepares materials in advance of committee and donor/prospect meetings * Attends Development Committee meetings; prepares meeting materials and agendas, follow up items, scheduling and meeting minutes * Enters information and meeting notes into Raiser’s Edge NXT and pulls activity reports * Works with the Database Manager to pull activity reports to measure activity against goals * Proactively manages the CDO’s calendar and Development Office calendar to ensure deadlines are met * Attends campaign-related events and provides event support as needed * Assists with drafting proposals, and gift and pledge agreements * Provides logistic support for meetings and travel * Creates event briefing materials * Assists with expense reporting * Creates and runs reports and lists, as needed to support external efforts and outreach * Other Duties (10%) * Responds to requests from the Collegiate community and provides timely follow through * Manage and orders supplies for the Development Office * Manages Development Conference Room calendar * Answers general Development Office phone and greets visitors * Attends and assists with departmental and school-wide events, as needed * May provide occasional assistance to other areas of the Development Office, as needed Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and competencies: * Bachelor’s Degree * Interest in development/advancement and education; development experience preferred * Strong written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills * High degree of initiative and follow through * High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality * High level of attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working independently and as a member of a team * Proficiently uses Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Sheets * Experience in Blackbaud Raiser’s or other Relationship Management System (RMS) a plus * Collaborative team player, in Development Office and across the School It is critical that candidates demonstrate a commitment to the School’s Core Values and Mission HONOR Personal integrity and devotion to the truth, which make one trustworthy, forthright, responsible and fair.
