The Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) is hiring! Our team of 30+ professionals works daily with school districts and board members, both committed to strengthening the K-12 education system in our great state.
We are seeking our newest Business Systems & CRM Manager to lead MASB’s digital transformation efforts through the administration, optimization and strategic evolution of our Dynamics 365, CRM and Power Platform environment. This role serves as a key partner across the organization, helping staff leverage technology, automation and data to better serve the association and its members.

This Business Systems & CRM Manager acts as a bridge between business operations and technology, helping transform organizational needs into scalable solutions through system configuration, workflow automation, reporting, training and ongoing support. The role serves as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership, helping MASB leverage technology and data to improve decision-making, strengthen member service and increase organizational effectiveness.
This role is ideal for an Information Technology professional with experience supporting business applications who also enjoys solving complex problems, building strong relationships and driving meaningful organizational improvements through technology. The position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical business systems while helping shape MASB’s technology strategy and future capabilities.

Essential Functions
- D365 and Power Platform Administration: Lead the administration, optimization and strategic evolution of MASB’s Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment, serving as the primary owner of these critical business systems. Configure, enhance, monitor, and support Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate and related applications to maximize business value and support organizational growth.
- Operational Responsibilities: Develop and optimize business processes using workflows, automations and governance practices that improve efficiency, consistency and data quality. Manage application security, provide training and support to end users, and oversee change management for business application enhancements.
- Translate Organizational Needs into Practical Solutions: Partner with staff and leadership across the organization to understand business challenges and identify opportunities where technology, automation and data can improve outcomes. Leverage analytics, process improvement, and system capabilities to increase efficiency, strengthen reporting and support informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise business applications, CRM platforms, or related business systems.
- Experience supporting end-users, including training and change management.
- Strong curiosity, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Customer Insights Journeys, Power Pages, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Azure Integration Services or other modern cloud and AI-enabled business platforms.
- Experience supporting members, customers and staff with IT solutions.
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
