BUSINESS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Systems Administrator supports the administration, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the company’s business applications and software platforms. This role helps ensure employees have the tools, access, support, and documentation needed to work effectively across systems such as Wrike, Salesforce, Guru, and other business applications.

Working closely with IT, Operations, and business stakeholders, the Business Applications Specialist supports user adoption, system administration, identity and access management, software licensing, and application governance across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and maintain business applications, including Wrike, Salesforce, Guru, and other company platforms.

  • Configure and maintain users, permissions, groups, dashboards, forms, and standard platform settings.

  • Manage user accounts, access requests, onboarding, offboarding, and software provisioning across business applications and enterprise systems.

  • Support identity and access management (IAM) processes, including single sign-on (SSO), directory services, and role-based access controls, in partnership with IT.

  • Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution while promoting best practices and user adoption across business systems.

  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.

  • Support data quality, system governance, and consistent platform configuration across business applications.

  • Assist with testing, implementation, and rollout of new business applications, platform enhancements, and system updates.

  • Track software licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and other technology asset and vendor information.

  • Coordinate with software vendors, consultants, IT, and business stakeholders to support application maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing operational needs.

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and user experience through better utilization of existing technology and business applications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–5 years of experience supporting and administering business applications, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software

  • Experience administering Wrike or a comparable work management or project management platform

  • Experience supporting or administering Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform preferred

  • Experience managing user accounts, access permissions, software provisioning, and employee onboarding/offboarding

  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Okta, Google Workspace, or similar technologies

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms

  • Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

  • Excellent customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting software implementations, upgrades, or system rollouts

COMPENSATION: $65,000 - $70,000

WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL

  • This is a primarily remote position for U.S.-based candidates, with optional hybrid or in-office opportunities in Lakewood, Colorado, and Sarasota, Florida.

  • Expected travel: Up to 10% including team gatherings, or in-person training.
