Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Financial & Commercial Modeling: Formulate, architect, build, and defend Units-Revenue-Margin models behind pricing and configuration decisions.
  • Executive Presentation: Prepare, present, and defend materials for leadership forums and executive decision-making.
  • Performance & Insights Readouts: Lead post-launch Connected Insights readouts that integrate sell-through data into strategic insights on product performance and customer demand.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner directly with Engineering on Apple silicon architecture trade-offs and with Sales on go-to-market motions (e.g., on-device AI), translating deeply technical trade-offs into rigorous commercial recommendations.
  • New Business Cases & Growth Initiatives: Build and lead business cases for new categories and market entry opportunities - including the opportunity for a AAA gaming platform on Mac - evaluating both the quantitative model and the strategic rationale for investment.
  • International Expansion: Collaborate with marketing leaders to evaluate and prioritize international growth initiatives that expand penetration in growth markets.
  • Special Projects: Manage high-impact strategic initiatives, handling extremely confidential information and influencing long-term product direction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally including product, platform, or hardware business partnering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative field required.

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
