Job Description
The Law Office of Parag L. Amin, P.C. (“LawPLA”) is a fast-growing business litigation and employment defense firm seeking a strategic, creative, and highly proactive Brand Visibility & Promotion Strategist to help define and drive the firm’s public presence, market visibility, and promotional momentum. This is not a conventional marketing role. This is an internal brand seat for someone who can operate at the intersection of brand ambassador, publicist, content curator, media-minded storyteller, promotional strategist, and marketing operator.
Before you decide you have to apply because this sounds like the coolest opportunity you can imagine, we invite you to watch this short video from our Founder to get a better sense of who we are, how we work, and the kind of person who tends to thrive here: https://youtu.be/HQB1X6VsxKo?si=KAeh3lMtc4pzBxw4
The right person for this role will help LawPLA become more visible in the market without making the firm sound generic, gimmicky, or overproduced. You will help translate the firm’s reputation, legal insight, attorney voice, market position, and business-development priorities into external-facing visibility that feels credible, compelling, and unmistakably LawPLA.
This role is not about simply posting content, running ads, or managing isolated campaigns. It is about noticing what is worth amplifying, shaping it into the right message, identifying where it should go, and helping the firm show up consistently in the market with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
This position is full-time and remote, open to individuals authorized to work in the US. Please read the entire job post to get all the details on how to submit a complete application. Only complete applications submitted through the process detailed below will be considered.
INDIVIDUAL APPLICANTS ONLY. NO AGENCIES. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE FIRM DIRECTLY. FOLLOW THE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN THIS JOB POSTING.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an internal brand visibility and promotion strategist for LawPLA, helping the firm become more recognizable, differentiated, and memorable in its market.
- Identify what is worth amplifying across the firm’s work, attorney insight, client-facing themes, market commentary, media opportunities, case-related lessons, business-development priorities, and existing content library.
- Translate firm leadership’s ideas, especially the Founder’s voice and market perspective, into clear promotional opportunities, content themes, public-facing messages, and visibility strategies.
- Help shape and maintain a consistent LawPLA voice across external-facing channels, including social media, website content, video, email, newsletters, media materials, speaking opportunities, and other public touchpoints.
- Operate as a thoughtful internal “publicist” for the firm by identifying opportunities to promote attorneys, firm wins, thought leadership, community presence, media appearances, business litigation insights, and market differentiation.
- Develop and maintain a practical visibility calendar that connects firm priorities, business-development goals, seasonal opportunities, current events, industry trends, and attorney insight to timely promotional activity.
- Curate and repurpose existing firm content, including videos, articles, social posts, newsletters, attorney commentary, presentations, and other materials, into stronger multi-use brand assets.
- Coordinate the creation of public-facing content, including social posts, short-form video concepts, attorney thought-leadership pieces, website updates, campaign copy, email content, media blurbs, award submissions, and promotional narratives.
- Monitor the firm’s public presence and help ensure that LawPLA’s messaging remains consistent, professional, distinctive, and aligned with the firm’s reputation and business-development strategy.
- Identify opportunities for strategic visibility outside of routine digital marketing, including interviews, podcasts, speaking engagements, awards, rankings, community involvement, professional associations, publications, and referral-network visibility.
- Work directly with firm leadership to capture ideas quickly, clarify intended audiences, organize messaging priorities, and move useful concepts from conversation into public-facing execution.
- Help the firm avoid disconnected, one-off marketing activity by connecting posts, campaigns, media opportunities, attorney visibility, and promotional efforts to a larger brand and business-development strategy.
- Establish a clear reporting rhythm so leadership understands what is being promoted, what is in progress, what is gaining traction, what opportunities are emerging, and what should happen next.
- Maintain strong organization around promotional ideas, content pipelines, approvals, deadlines, drafts, distribution plans, brand assets, and visibility opportunities.
- Protect the firm’s professional reputation, legal-industry sensitivities, confidentiality obligations, and brand standards while helping the firm become more active, visible, and compelling in the market.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, public relations, communications, media, content strategy, professional-services marketing, or a related field.
- Strong ability to understand a professional-services brand and translate leadership ideas, market positioning, attorney insight, and business-development priorities into useful promotional activity.
- Excellent writing, editing, and messaging judgment across formats, including social media, website copy, email, thought leadership, short-form scripts, media pitches, promotional blurbs, and campaign content.
- Strong instinct for what is interesting, timely, relevant, marketable, and worth amplifying.
- Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, with enough sophistication to shape the message and enough discipline to move the work forward.
- Comfort working directly with attorneys, executives, or subject-matter experts to draw out ideas, refine themes, and turn complex concepts into accessible, compelling external-facing content.
- Strong professional judgment, especially around reputation, tone, confidentiality, legal-industry standards, client sensitivity, and compliance-minded marketing.
- Ability to recognize and preserve a distinct voice rather than flattening all content into generic marketing language.
- Strong organizational discipline, including the ability to manage content calendars, promotional pipelines, competing deadlines, approvals, drafts, priorities, and follow-through.
- Ability to take initiative without overstepping, identify opportunities without creating noise, and keep leadership informed without requiring constant direction.
- Familiarity with social media, email marketing, website content, video content, thought leadership, PR, media opportunities, and professional visibility strategies.
- Ability to read engagement and performance signals, understand what they suggest, and recommend thoughtful next steps.
- Low-ego, high-accountability communication style with strong follow-through, responsiveness, and ownership.
- Experience in legal, professional services, consulting, financial services, executive services, or another reputation-sensitive industry is strongly preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to thrive in a remote role with strong self-management, judgment, and accountability.
How to Apply:
We are not hiring for a conventional marketing position, so we are not looking for a conventional application. To start, please apply through this posting with your resume. We will review resumes first to identify candidates with the right foundation in brand, promotion, communications, public relations, content strategy, professional-services marketing, or related work.
If we would like to continue the conversation, we will invite you to submit three additional items:
- A brief video introduction. In 2–3 minutes, tell us who you are, why this role interests you, and what you think makes a professional-services brand visible, credible, and memorable.
- Your portfolio or work sample set. This can include writing samples, social posts, campaign materials, PR materials, website copy, email content, video concepts, thought-leadership pieces, brand work, or any other examples that show how you think about visibility and promotion.
- A short “visibility audit” of LawPLA. We will provide simple instructions if you are selected for this step. We are not looking for a full marketing plan or free consulting work. We are looking for your instincts: what you notice, what you would amplify, what feels distinctive, and where you see an opportunity to make the firm more visible in a credible and strategic way.
The strongest candidates will show good judgment, strong writing, brand sensitivity, creative instincts, and the ability to think beyond routine marketing tasks. We want to see how you observe, how you communicate, and how you would help a sophisticated law firm become more visible without becoming generic.
These instructions are an important part of the application process and any applications received without these requirements will not be considered. If you’ve read this entire job post, you have all the instructions needed to submit a full application.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $85,000–$105,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Opportunity to earn meaningful performance-based incentive compensation based on successful visibility initiatives, campaign execution, brand-development milestones, and measurable contribution to firm marketing and business-development outcomes.
- Benefits include health coverage as well as vacation and paid time off policy to support work-life balance after probationary period of 90 days is completed.
