  • Own social content strategy and performance optimization while partnering with PR and internal teams to surface timely opportunities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Translate brand strategy into campaigns, content, and communications across channels.
  • Bring a creative and strategic point of view to campaign development: audience thinking, channel selection, messaging, and creative direction.
  • Manage editorial calendars and content planning to tie brand activity to business priorities.
  • Write and edit across formats — social copy, executive communications, member-facing messaging, long-form content, and campaign briefs.
  • Distill complex anti-financial crime topics into clear, credible content for an educated audience.
  • Maintain brand voice and editorial standards across outputs.
  • Own day-to-day management of ACAMS' social channels.
  • Drive content strategy, posting cadence, experimentation, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor industry conversations and surface timely content opportunities.
  • Partner with our PR agency on external communications and ensure messaging consistency.
  • Work closely with Events, Marketing, Thought Leadership, Chapters, and Editorial teams to surface content opportunities and align on priorities.

requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand, content, social media, communications, or marketing — with clear exposure across multiple functions
  • B2B experience required; background in financial services, compliance, professional services, or another regulated or complex industry strongly preferred
  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgment — able to produce and review content across multiple formats and audiences
  • Experience supporting or developing brand campaigns end-to-end, from concept through execution
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; experience coordinating campaigns across teams and vendors to meet timelines and budgets
  • Outstanding cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholder expectations and work effectively across levels
  • Resourceful and self-directed — comfortable doing work across levels, knowing when to ask for help
  • Familiarity with social media management, content strategy, and digital channels
  • High adaptability; able to respond to shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as Sprout, Canva, and Microsoft tools
  • Fluent English required
