About The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Staff Brand Designer to join Facet’s Design team. This role is pivotal in shaping how our brand comes to life across various experiences and touchpoints. Having recently launched a 0-to-1 mobile app establishing a new visual direction, this individual contributor role will be instrumental in defining, scaling, and implementing this aesthetic across our entire brand ecosystem. The successful candidate will set the standard for visual craftsmanship, creating thoughtful, customer-centric work that influences creative direction throughout the organization. As a strategic partner to the Head of Design, you will actively co-create our visual language, building a cohesive, high-quality design system that builds trust and engagement with prospective and current members.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a designer who thrives on autonomy and seeks to leave a lasting impact on a rapidly growing technology-driven company. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Growth Product Managers, and other stakeholders to translate initial visions into comprehensive, world-class design systems. Your work will directly influence how Facet’s brand is perceived and experienced, ensuring consistency and excellence across all channels and platforms.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in visual, brand, and web design for consumer digital products at a senior or staff level.
- Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, brand systems, responsive web design, and work across marketing and growth initiatives.
- Deep expertise in designing responsive web experiences with a strong understanding of modern web capabilities, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Experience integrating generative AI into creative workflows to enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
- Strong ability to develop scalable design systems, reusable components, and detailed style guides.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to navigate ambiguity and embrace continuous brand evolution.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, or growth experimentation is a plus.
- Exposure to the lifestyle or wellness industry is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the visual direction and execution of high-impact design initiatives across Facet’s marketing ecosystem, including websites, presentations, emails, marketing campaigns, advertising, in-product growth features, and a variety of graphic assets.
- Create and maintain best-in-class marketing web experiences that effectively balance storytelling, usability, accessibility, and business goals.
- Own and evolve the visual design system, ensuring consistency in typography, color palettes, layout, motion, and detailed visual elements that reflect the Facet brand identity.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Design, Engineering, and external agencies to develop integrated, cohesive experiences that meet strategic objectives.
- Develop scalable campaign and communication toolkits, frameworks, and assets that reduce reliance on external agencies and promote creative consistency.
- Translate performance data and user feedback into impactful visual designs that drive engagement and conversions.
- Design and implement AI-assisted creative workflows, establishing asset pipelines that increase team productivity and creative output.
- Assist in in-product design initiatives to meet project deadlines and enhance user experience.
- Present and articulate design decisions confidently during cross-functional critiques and stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain an active online portfolio showcasing your best work and design thinking.
