Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This position is open for both full-time and part-time candidates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and contributing to a smooth and efficient month-end close process. Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage daily financial transactions in QuickBooks, including bills, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and vendor statements on a regular basis.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including organizing records and preparing basic financial reports.
- Assist with production job actualization and financial close.
- Maintain accurate vendor, customer, and account information in QuickBooks.
- Support expense categorization, receipt management, and payroll data entry as needed.
- Review financial data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Use HubSpot to enter and maintain new client information, ensuring records are accurate and up to date across systems.
- Generate routine bookkeeping reports and support ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1β2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a professional setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for daily transaction management and reporting
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and organized record-keeping
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working within the advertising and production industry
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team coordination
