Job Description
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, SEO-friendly content for blogs, websites, landing pages, and other digital platforms
- Translate complex medical and behavioral health topics into clear, user-friendly content
- Research, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, readability, and brand consistency
- Write compelling social copy for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams on campaigns and content strategy
- Incorporate SEO and GEO best practices to improve organic and AI-search visibility
- Adapt writing style across different audiences, platforms, and brand voices
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional writing or copywriting experience
- Strong portfolio of published digital content
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of SEO content strategy
- Knowledge of APA style
- Ability to make complicated subjects easy to understand
- Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience writing about mental health, addiction, substance use disorders, healthcare, or behavioral health
- Experience optimizing content for both traditional search engines and generative/AI search
