Job Description

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, professional relationships.
Develop and execute PR and media relations strategies to secure consistent, high-quality top-tier and trade media coverage.
Build relationships with technology journalists at trade, business press and national outlets.
Mentor junior team members on pitching best practices and reporter relationship building.
Update media lists, client trackers and account admin as needed.
Content development and strategy - Q&As, bylines, press releases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, delivering results that align with client objectives.
Monitor and analyze media landscape, providing actionable insights and recommendations for generating media interest across client accounts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and media landscapes to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a field related to marketing, PR
3-5+ years of experience in a PR or media relations role within an agency environment (required).
Experience working with B2B tech clients in an agency setting (required).
Requires deep experience with B2B content marketing, PR, and communications
B2B experience required (will not consider if eCommerce/consumer marketing experience only)
Previous agency experience required
Only considering candidates based in MA, NY, AZ, NJ, CA, NC, FL, GA or WA

Preferred

Ideal candidate also has social media / exec social strategy, execution, content writing experience
Social media experience is a plus.
Familiarity with tools like Cision, Meltwater or similar platforms is a plus.
