Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): This role acts as a vital link in the Marketing and Communications ecosystem, translating the College’s core values into engaging digital content. Its primary purpose is to maintain a professional and innovative brand presence that resonates with current and prospective community members.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Digital Content Management: Execute full-cycle content updates across the St. Olaf website (WordPress), ensuring all pages adhere to institutional brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and SEO best practices.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison for AAA/AA staff, providing professional WordPress support and coordinating updates to ensure departmental web presences are accurate and consistent.

  • Data Analytics & Insight: Monitor and analyze performance metrics across Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram; synthesize this data into actionable reports that inform future marketing strategies.

  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain a high level of detail-orientation to ensure "one voice" across all digital touchpoints, correcting inconsistencies and proactively suggesting improvements.
