Job Summary

Own publicity initiatives for SGA events and campaigns, design marketing materials, and maintain regular office hours in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with the SGA Secretary of Marketing and Communications to oversee all SGA publicity, ensuring efficient publicity and compliance with SGA style guidelines.
  • Create posters, brochures, and other materials as requested.
  • Identify marketing priorities and develop PR campaigns (using print, web, special events, etc.) to advertise events and initiatives of SGA.
  • Maintain three weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities (BC 108)

Requirements

  • Graphic design skills
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn programs within the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Competent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be of sophomore standing or higher at the time in which the position is assumed.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Must not be found in violation of any St. Olaf policies.
