Responsibilities

• Travel to aircraft maintenance jobs and capture photo and video content
• Ride along on flights and maintenance trips to document the operation
• Capture aircraft, maintenance work, job sites, people, and the environments surrounding them
• Participate in small-aircraft flights and, when appropriate, air-to-air photography and videography
• Plan creative shots and sequences rather than simply pointing a camera at whatever is happening
• Turn raw footage into compelling short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
• Produce longer-form YouTube content and mini-documentary style videos
• Photograph aircraft and maintenance work for use across our website, social media, advertising, and other marketing
• Help develop recurring content concepts, series, and stories
• Manage Aircraft MD's social media profiles and maintain a consistent brand image

Requirements

• creative, dependable, curious, and willing to work.
• If you're relatively new to content creation but have a good eye, understand what makes a video interesting, and are willing to learn and put in the work, we'd like to hear from you.
• Have experience with photography, videography, video editing, or social media
• Understand pacing, composition, lighting, sound, and storytelling
• Can turn ordinary footage into something people actually want to watch
• Have a strong sense of what looks and feels good on social media
• Are comfortable working around airplanes and in active work environments
• Are willing to travel for jobs
• Can work independently without needing constant direction
• Are organized enough to manage content from filming through publishing
