  • Audience and discovery ownership: optimize tentpole visibility across Google, YouTube, social, and AI search.
  • Content strategy and authority: pitch trending, evergreen, and planned content to strengthen The California Post’s authority and multi‑platform presence.
  • Cross‑functional alignment and optimization: partner with editorial, product, development, video, data, and marketing to align audience strategies and optimize homepage, landing pages, and article templates.
  • Platform research and gaps: conduct keyword and platform research to identify content gaps, emerging trends, and audience demand.
  • Performance monitoring: track metrics, benchmarks, and analytics to inform strategy and adjust in real time.
  • Editorial collaboration: participate in editorial meetings and deliver real-time optimization insights to shape coverage.
  • Training and governance: conduct regular audits and training to embed best practices across the newsroom.
