We are currently seeking a motivated Veterans Benefits Attorney to become part of our remote team. In this essential role within our law firm, you will be responsible for handling vital claims with the VA, offering crucial guidance to our committed support team, and championing tirelessly for the rights of our country's brave veterans. This is an extremely fulfilling role and requires someone passionate about helping veterans.
Compensation:$80,000 - $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Advocate for veterans' benefits by leading claims before the VA and ensuring they receive the benefits they deserve.
- Assist with webinars, outreach initiatives, and other marketing efforts designed to educate and support veterans.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of paralegals and law clerks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Engage in BVA hearings and meticulously prepare appeals for the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, offering compassionate support and expert legal advice.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of your work.
Qualifications:
- Must have VA accreditation.
- Participated in BVA hearings.
- Licensed attorney in any state in the US, with a preference for Florida Bar membership.
- Passion for VA law and veterans benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
