Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
HairClub is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel – Commercial & Marketing to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide practical, business-focused legal guidance across marketing, advertising, commercial contracts, consumer disputes, and compliance matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while helping support a nationally recognized consumer brand.
What You’ll Do
- Review marketing, advertising, social media, website, promotional, and consumer-facing materials for legal and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including vendor, marketing, professional services, and confidentiality agreements.
- Manage consumer disputes, attorney general complaints, demand letters, and small claims matters.
- Support litigation-related matters including cease-and-desist letters, restrictive covenant enforcement, factual investigations, and outside counsel coordination.
- Assist with regulatory, compliance, and strategic business initiatives.
- Help improve legal workflows, templates, intake processes, and department efficiencies.
What You Bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Bar admission in good standing, preferably Florida.
- 2–4 years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or similar environment.
- Experience with commercial contract drafting and negotiation preferred.
- Background in healthcare, retail, consumer services, e-commerce, beauty, wellness, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance legal risk with practical business objectives.
- Self-starter mindset with strong collaboration and accountability.
