Job Description

Overview

The Associate Content Development Manager contributes to the creation and evolution of HardScope's content slate, supporting the development team in moving culturally relevant ideas from early-stage ideation into structured, development-ready concepts. This role operates within HardScope's development system, working across Strategy, Studio, Partnerships, Distribution, and Operations to help shape concepts using audience insight, platform dynamics, and commercial considerations. The focus is hands-on development support and pipeline coordination — helping ensure concepts move through evaluation and greenlight with clarity and velocity, and that the development process runs with visibility across all relevant stakeholders. Working across a range of cultural categories such as Sports, Gaming, Lifestyle, Gambling, Fashion, and Food, this role helps ensure HardScope's slate reflects both audience demand and cultural momentum. Success in this role is defined by a consistent contribution to the development pipeline, measurable deck output, and a development process that moves quickly and stays on track.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to concept development through early-stage ideation, helping shape ideas into clear, development-ready opportunities that can move through evaluation and greenlight processes.
  • Build and present pitch decks and creative presentations that communicate concept vision, format, audience fit, and commercial potential to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Assist with development of a consistent pipeline of ideas across verticals including Sports, Gaming, Lifestyle, Gambling, Fashion, and Food.
  • Support cross-functional coordination with Studio, production leadership, and Distribution to ensure concepts are grounded in executional feasibility and platform fit.
  • Track the status of active development projects across the pipeline, maintaining visibility into where each concept stands and what is needed to advance it.
  • Help manage the development calendar, coordinating internal reviews, feedback sessions, and greenlight checkpoints across stakeholders.
  • Monitor and support communications with the Agency and Sales teams regarding concepts in development and those ready to go to market.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging creators, trends, and formats, bringing forward new ideas and opportunities that reflect cultural momentum and audience demand.

KPIs

  • Pipeline health and velocity across active development projects
  • Volume of pitch decks produced and submitted for greenlight review per quarter
  • Progression of offers out to creator and distribution partners resulting from pipeline activity
  • Accuracy and timeliness of pipeline tracking and weekly content slate reporting
  • Speed and quality of concept iteration through development cycles
  • Alignment of developed concepts with platform, audience, and commercial objectives

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in content development, production coordination, or creator-led media environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining clarity and momentum across stakeholders
  • Ability to contribute to concept development, creative materials, and pitch decks in a structured environment
  • Comfort building and maintaining tracking systems, development calendars, and pipeline documentation
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with strategy, production, and distribution teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills across creative and operational stakeholders
  • Experience with project tracking tools, production calendars, or pipeline management systems
