As an Assistant Salon Manager with Sport Clips, you will support the salon manager in driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining a high standard of service excellence. Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily salon operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service
• Support employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance
• Assist in oversight of inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising to maintain product availability and presentation
• Ensure proper cash handling, cashiering procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations are followed accurately
• Promote retail sales through effective upselling techniques and customer engagement strategies
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and inventory control while adhering to safety standards
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication skills
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent organizational skills

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology or Barber License
• Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail or service environment
• Strong management skills with experience in team management, training & development, and leadership roles
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of retail math, sales management, and store management principles
• Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, merchandising, and marketing techniques
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills
• Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
