Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, E-Commerce is responsible for driving the e-merchandising initiatives for the designated brand, focusing on enhancing the digital customer experience and optimizing conversion. This role will closely collaborate with merchandising and creative teams to ensure seamless product configurations, content management, and web experience enhancements. The position demands a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, a keen eye for detail, and a strategic mindset to drive results. Strong leadership, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking are essential to succeed in this fast-paced and innovative environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the digital merchandising strategy, including product ranking, sorting, and optimizing site content to align with business priorities and customer needs.
- Manage internal search term maintenance, optimize search results, and implement strategies to improve search relevancy and user experience.
- Lead the lifecycle of digital creative asset requests for email campaigns and site refreshes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate testing before launch.
- Conduct daily audits to ensure products with high exposure are prominently displayed, categorized correctly, and merchandised effectively for maximum visibility and sales conversion.
- Utilize Adobe Analytics to run daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Analyze performance trends, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders on merchandising strategies.
- Assist in the execution of special e-commerce projects as outlined in the e-commerce roadmap, working closely with the Senior E-Commerce Manager to meet business objectives.
- Provide general operational support for e-commerce, ensuring all merchandising processes are streamlined and optimized for performance and efficiency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in e-commerce, with a thorough understanding of online retailing and digital merchandising practices.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and a solid understanding of web data tools like Adobe Analytics.
- Familiarity with web design principles and usability to drive an intuitive, customer-friendly online experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, with strong presentation and written skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, managing multiple responsibilities with excellent time management and organization.
- Creative thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with Salesforce Demandware (or similar platforms) and other site merchandising tools.
- Proficiency with Adobe Analytics, with the ability to independently analyze data to drive merchandising decisions.
