Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, UI Foundation, this role develops and executes communications and marketing plans that strengthen awareness, engagement and support for organizational priorities.
• This role combines project management, producing creative content, digital marketing and storytelling to connect with and inspire a variety of audiences.

Requirements

• Two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related discipline
• Experience developing and executing marketing plans that engage audiences across multiple platforms and media
• Experience creating, producing and editing written, visual and digital content, including photos, video and graphics
• Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing needs
• Experience managing social media accounts and tracking performance for a business, organization or product(s)
• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or journalism
• Experience working in communications for higher education, nonprofit or advancement units
• Experience with paid social media ads and digital marketing
• Proficiency using content management systems and collaboration tools such as SharePoint or Microsoft Teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and community partners while working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use social media management tools for planning, scheduling and performance analytics
