Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the Brand Social team, setting clear direction, fostering a culture of creative ambition and collective accountability, and ensuring the team operates at its highest level
  • Provide active coaching, mentorship, and professional development to ICs and managers within the team, elevating contribution and building long-term capability
  • Hold a high bar for work quality and team culture, proactively sharing feedback with positive intent and creating the conditions for people to grow
  • Model and reinforce Apple's values and a "yes, and..." collaborative mindset across the team and beyond
  • Lead inclusively, ensuring all voices are heard and diverse perspectives inform the work
  • Own the overarching strategy for the Apple TV brand social presence, setting the vision for how Apple TV shows up across platforms to build conversation, fandoms, and cultural relevance for our brand, titles, and sports programming
  • Establish operational objectives, work plans, and performance frameworks for the team that connect social activity to business goals
  • Champion bold, social-first ideas from internal teams and agency partners, creating clear pathways for great work to get made and protecting creative ambition through execution
  • Drive alignment between brand social strategy and the broader Apple TV Marketing Organization, ensuring social is integrated and informed at every upstream decision point
  • Monitor platform evolution, audience behavior, and competitive landscape, bringing a clear, proactive point of view on strategy and optimization to senior leadership

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in social media marketing, with significant time spent leading and developing high-performing teams within entertainment, sport,, or highly consumer-centric brands
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of individual contributors and managers. You set a high bar, develop talent intentionally, and build a culture where people do their best work
  • Deep understanding of social media marketing and the broader entertainment marketing landscape, with the functional expertise to evaluate strategy, creative, and execution with a sharp, informed eye
  • Proven experience managing agency relationships at a senior level, holding partners to a high standard of ambition, innovation, and accountability
  • Skilled communicator and presenter. You influence senior leaders, negotiate critical matters, and bring stakeholders along while strengthening the relationship and the work
  • Command of social analytics and the ability to connect social strategy and output to business goals, framing performance in terms that resonate with senior leadership

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership. You build trust quickly, influence without authority, and navigate complex, matrixed organizations with skill and grace
  • Outstanding ability to cut through ambiguity and drive clarity. You take complex, competing inputs and distill them into a clear direction that teams can execute against
  • Highly organized operator with excellent judgment, decision-making, and discernment. You establish clear plans, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure the team executes with consistency and excellence
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, fluid, and ambiguous environment with competing demands and high-stakes deadlines
