Job Summary

Own the social content engine for Anthropologie Group by translating fashion trends, Creator culture, and internet moments into platform-native storytelling that engages core audiences and amplifies brand affinity.

  • Growth Infrastructure: Lead end-to-end social content ideation, planning, and execution across shoots and platform-native formats.
  • Creator Partnerships: Oversee casting, negotiations, and external collaborations to ensure authentic, culturally resonant storytelling.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Align social narratives with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Digital, and Ops goals to drive business impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead social content development across Anthropologie Group brands, ensuring content aligns with brand vision, channel strategy, cultural relevance, and audience behavior.
  • Concept and develop innovative, social-first content ideas, storytelling frameworks, and recurring franchises that drive engagement and brand affinity.
  • Translate trends, fashion, creators, and internet culture into timely and compelling content opportunities.
  • Lead content ideation, planning, and execution for social shoots, including storyboarding, creative direction, and platform-native content development.
  • Partner closely with Creative teams to strike the right balance between fashion, lifestyle, and cultural storytelling across channels.
  • Help build a fast-moving social content engine capable of reacting quickly to culture and turning ideas into scalable content.
  • Foster a test-and-learn environment that encourages experimentation, iteration, and creative risk-taking.
  • Oversee creator casting and partnership strategy across social campaigns and ongoing brand storytelling.
  • Lead communication and collaboration with external content agencies and creative partners.
  • Negotiate creator partnerships, usage rights, and social-first creative deliverables.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in social media, content creation, fashion, editorial, creative production, or digital storytelling.
  • Exceptional taste level with a strong eye for fashion, styling, lo-fi videography, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
  • Strong creative thinker and content creator with the ability to concept big ideas, storyboard, direct shoots, and bring socially native content to life.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, creators, and evolving platform behaviors.
  • Passion for internet culture, trends, creators, and reactive storytelling.
  • Experience leading creator casting, influencer partnerships, talent negotiations, and external creative relationships.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and team management skills with the ability to inspire creative teams and move ideas forward quickly.
  • Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and production workflows simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for testing, learning, iterating, and building content audiences genuinely want to engage with and share.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social content with brand and business goals.
