Event Staff – Anime Expo 2026 (Gaming Brand Booth)

Job Overview

We are hiring enthusiastic and reliable event staff to represent a gaming brand at Anime Expo 2026 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Staff will assist with booth operations, attendee engagement, crowd flow, and overall event support throughout the convention.

This is a temporary event position requiring full availability for all event dates, plus a short on-site training session prior to the show.

Event Dates

• July 2 – July 4 (9am - 6pm) | July 5 (9am - 3pm)
• Mandatory on-site training on July 1, 2026 (TBD)

Los Angeles Convention Center

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with convention attendees
• Assist with booth activities and demonstrations
• Maintain a positive and professional brand presence
• Support crowd management and line organization
• Help keep booth areas clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with team leads and staff

Requirements

• Must be available for the entire duration of Anime Expo (7/2–7/5)
• Must attend on-site training on 7/1
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Punctual, dependable, and professional
• Interest in gaming, anime, or pop culture is a plus
• Prior event, convention, retail, or promotional experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Perks

• Competitive hourly pay: $35/hr (1099 contractor)
