Lead strategic client engagement and lifecycle management across renewals, expansions, and risk mitigation, partnering with senior marketing stakeholders and the AEO Program Director to drive margin, scope discipline, and growth.
- Own multi-year client roadmap and relationship with VP of marketing and senior contacts.
- Close renewals and expansions personally, including pricing and scope.
- Monitor client health and flag risk early to enable recovery.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- The strategic roadmap for each client, built with the AEO Program Director's team and tied to the client's goals.
- The relationship with each client's VP of marketing or budget holder, plus at least one more senior contact.
- Renewals, started 90+ days before contract end and signed before the final 30 days.
- Expansion. You find, price and close new scope, using the AEO Program Director's sizing.
- Book margin and scope. You price or decline changes rather than absorbing them.
- Client health. You flag risk early and run the recovery with the AEO Program Director.
Requirements
- 7+ years in agency account leadership, client services or marketing strategy.
- A book of $1M+ that you've owned, with renewals and expansions you personally closed.
- Experience managing client budgets, margins and scope.
- Working knowledge of B2B marketing channels and how AI search is changing buyer discovery.
