Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and distributing Advancement email communications, including stewardship messages, alumni updates, and event invitations.
  • Support execution of Advancement communications aligned with fundraising and engagement priorities.
  • Maintain and update communications calendars and project timelines.
  • Edit and format donor and alumni-facing content.
  • Assist in managing Advancement social media channels.
  • Create and schedule posts highlighting donor impact, student success, alumni stories, and events.
  • Monitor engagement and elevate inquiries to appropriate Advancement staff.
  • Track basic engagement metrics.
  • Support development and coordination of Advancement print and digital materials.
  • Assist with Annual Impact Reports, appeal materials, stewardship pieces, and event invitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience in communications, marketing, or nonprofit engagement
  • Familiarity with social media and email communication platforms
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Collaborative work style and strong attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset when communicating with alumni and donors
