Position: Admissions & Social Media Specialist
Location: ILLINOIS NURSING ACADEMY – Midlothian, IL

ILLINOIS NURSING ACADEMY is seeking a driven, people-focused, and creative individual to support our admissions efforts and lead our social media presence!

Job Overview:

As our Admissions & Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in growing our student body and spreading awareness about our healthcare training programs. You’ll support students throughout the admissions process while building online content that drives new interest and engagement across platforms.

Admissions & Student Outreach

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person

  • Guide applicants through the admissions process — from inquiry to enrollment

  • Maintain accurate records of student leads and progress

  • Coordinate with internal staff to ensure smooth onboarding and communication

Social Media & Marketing

  • Develop and post content daily across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more

  • Highlight upcoming classes, student spotlights, and school events

  • Create graphics and videos using tools like Canva or CapCut

  • Track analytics to improve reach and engagement

  • Help build campaigns that boost enrollment and brand visibility

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or customer service

  • Proven ability to manage and grow social media accounts

  • Familiarity with Canva, video editing tools, or basic design software

  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable multitasking

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus

  • A passion for education and helping others succeed

Position Details:

  • Part-time or Full-time (flexible schedule available)

  • Primarily on-site at our Midlothian campus, with occasional travel to meet with prospective students and community partners

  • Compensation based on experience
