Job Summary

Own the student-facing classroom and policy-compliance layer, delivering lectures, evaluating performance, and ensuring accessible, respectful learning environments while upholding FERPA and ADA standards.

  • Learning Operations: Manage curriculum delivery, timely feedback, and grade submissions for diverse student groups.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce FERPA, ADA accommodations, attendance records, incident reporting, and on-site presence for in-person learning.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with students, staff, and Dean of Student Services to handle concerns and maintain professional communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Follows the course curriculum outline, prepares and delivers lectures and other classroom activities.
  • Becomes familiar with, and abides by, all college policies with immediate priority given to those policies that govern interactions with colleagues, staff, administrators, and departments throughout the organization
  • Maintains professional etiquette in communications with students, staff, faculty, and administrators
  • Provides appropriate and timely feedback for all assignments
  • Returns graded assignments in a timely fashion per department standards
  • Maintains student attendance records (for Financial Aid purposes) and grades
  • Conducts a variety of appropriate evaluations of student performance
  • Informs students of progress-to-date periodically and assigns and submits grades by published deadlines
  • Assists in maintaining a safe and mutually respectful instructional environment
  • Prepares and submits incident reports to Dean of Student Services for inappropriate student behavior as defined by the Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of start date.
  • Master’s degree in Business or Marketing from an accredited college or university OR Master’s degree in closely related field
  • verification of completion of degree requirements by time of employment with official transcripts

Preferred

  • Three (3) years non-teaching, full-time (or full-time equivalent) work experience in Marketing, or related field
  • College level teaching or corporate training experience
  • Knowledge and experience in technology-enhanced instruction
