Job Summary

Own teaching coverage in a university marketing pool with a focus on credential compliance and timely coverage for part‑time, temporary roles.

  • Deliver courses across core and specialized marketing topics to maintain course standards within a pool-based model.
  • Meet credential requirements including earned doctorates or ABDs and related master’s degrees with substantial experience.
  • Operate within an open pool, aligned to funding and hiring cycles and contingent on timely availability.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Temporary, part time positions in the Department of Marketing.
  • Deliver courses in Marketing Principles, Marketing Strategies, Marketing Analysis and Research, Global Marketing Strategies, Consumer Behavior, Advertising and Promotion, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Special Topics in Marketing, Special Topics in Digital Marketing, Business to Business Marketing, and Selling/Sales Management at the Monfort College of Business.

Requirements

  • Holds an earned doctoral degree related to the primary teaching field (or ABD with prospect for timely completion).
  • Holds a doctoral degree outside of the field in which they are teaching and has completed the equivalent of 15 hours of graduate-level coursework in the teaching field or has other appropriate and extensive experience or intellectual contributions related to the primary teaching field.
  • Holds a master’s degree related to the field in which they are teaching (includes a law degree for faculty applying to teach law courses).
  • Holds a master’s degree outside of the field in which they are teaching and has completed the equivalent of 9 hours of graduate-level coursework in the hired-for teaching area.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree and significant (greater than 10 years) executive level experience.
