Account Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader within client teams, maintaining regular client communications with a firm understanding of the client’s goals and expectations
• Drive planning, strategy and execution of long- and short-term strategic communications plans that meet client objectives
• Manage and execute crisis scenarios for clients
• Participate in internal marketing and new business efforts, including drafting new business proposals and case studies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns
• Demonstrate ability to balance business/profitability decisions with team issues and assignments

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant PR and communications experience. Agency experience preferred; digital and social media experience is a plus but not required
• Experience or interest in new business operations is a plus
• A genuine passion for public service and a commitment to working with nonprofits and mission- based initiatives
• Media relations expertise with a strong network of media contacts
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• A collaborative and enthusiastic team player!

Preferred

• Crisis communications experience
