Across our two agencies — 120/80 MKTG and AOx3 — we serve as the lead narrators in telling the story of how AI is changing and improving healthcare and life sciences. We are specifically seeking candidates with communications/PR agency client service experience. This is not a sales-focused role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day client account management and execution, ensuring strong

organization, communication, and alignment with client goals

  • Manage account workflow from planning through delivery, proactively tracking

deliverables, identifying risks, and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Partner with senior team members to contribute to the development and execution of

communications strategies, including messaging, narratives, and editorial planning

  • Lead multiple workstreams across accounts, balancing priorities while contributing to

strategy development

  • Build strong client relationships through day-to-day interactions, providing thoughtful

recommendations and ensuring client needs are met

  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute integrated campaigns and identify

opportunities for visibility and engagement

  • Drive the development of content and thought leadership, including press releases,

pitches, bylines, blog posts, and other materials

  • Develop and execute media outreach, including pitching stories and securing

opportunities across earned channels, speaking engagements, and industry recognition

  • Develop a deep understanding of client industries, particularly healthcare and

healthtech, to inform stronger storytelling and strategy

  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping ensure high-quality work and

consistent execution of agency best practices

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field

(agency or in-house)

  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or a strong understanding of the industry
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships and lead account execution
  • Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple workstreams and

priorities

  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and edit

high-quality content

  • Demonstrated experience in media relations, including pitching and securing coverage
  • Ability to think strategically while also driving execution
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight

deadlines

  • Strong team player with a client service mindset and commitment to exceeding

expectations

  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and media monitoring

platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, etc.)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000/yr
