Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Account Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Infor products by nurturing and developing sales opportunities.
  • The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving both company and personal quotas.
  • Responsibilities include developing marketing plans that provide leads, managing assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business issues and design strategies.
  • Work closely with existing clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Articulate the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the value, competitive advantages, resources and processes to clients.
  • Generate pipeline and achieve or exceed consistent annual quota achievement.
  • Challenge your clients and prospects to think differently by developing compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans. Establish, document, and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.

Requirements

  • Experience selling technology business solutions.
  • Experience establishing and managing executive level customer relationships across an organization.
  • Experience managing multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Experience developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
  • Experience working in a quota-driven role.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred

  • Experience working cross functionally in a matrix-management environment with extended team members.
  • Experience within the SI partner community.
