Job Summary

Own PR programs for clean-energy clients by steering brainstorming, execution of media plans, and timely event coordination, ensuring strong media relations and clear, compelling communications across product launches and campaigns.

  • Public relations program ownership: plan, coordinate, and track budgets and material prep for product introductions and events.
  • Media and analyst relationships: nurture and manage ongoing outreach to key outlets and industry analysts to secure coverage and insight.
  • Client coordination and quality control: schedule meetings, align timelines, and support junior relationships to keep programs on track.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Participate and assist in program brainstorming, development, and planning
  • Execute against public relations plans, product introduction strategies and special events, including budget tracking, material preparation
  • Schedules client-related team meetings and conference calls and/or events as needed
  • Take responsibility for junior level client relationships
  • Understand larger client timelines and priorities
  • Supports the overall organization and success of the account
  • Research, draft, edit and proofread press releases, and corporate communications materials
  • Nurture solid relationships with media and industry analysts

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of public relations experience, ideally in clean energy, tech, or sustainability sectors. Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in the energy transition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools and analytics platforms.
  • A team player with a collaborative spirit and leadership qualities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
