In Office Culture

At Elevation, we enjoy being in office together and we are passionate about culture, collaboration, learning and the community that it creates, and we are looking for employees who value this as well. We were meant to work together, not alone! All our roles are full-time on-site roles, with two work-from-home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it comes to life emergencies that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years. We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Role Summary

Working both behind the scenes and directly with our clients, the Account Executive is responsible for managing the execution of projects and workstreams while beginning to take ownership of client communication and some relationship development. This role begins the career transitions from coordination into ownership, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to client expectations. The Account Executive plays a critical role in connecting execution to outcomes, supporting both delivery and early-stage growth by identifying opportunities, asking the right questions, and contributing to the expansion of account scope. The AE can manage day-to-day projects and needs of larger clients with AD/AM supervision and manage the needs of smaller clients with little oversight.

Marketing Knowledge & Activities

• Understands foundational marketing concepts including branding, positioning, messaging, buyer personas, and customer journeys.
• Assists with development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Supports audience targeting, content planning, campaign activation, and marketing program execution.
• Develops working knowledge of digital marketing channels including paid media, email marketing, SEO, social media, websites, and marketing automation.
• Conducts market, customer, and competitor research to support planning activities.
• Learns how campaign metrics relate to marketing performance and business outcomes.
• Participates in strategy meetings and planning discussions to build marketing expertise.

Key Responsibilites:

• Supports a team (POD) and 6–10 accounts inside an account team that is typically 2-5 individuals.
• Owns execution of projects and workstreams across assigned accounts
• May be assigned as the  point person on 1-2 small accounts
• Develops and manages timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule
•  Coordinates internal teams across strategy, creative, digital/paid media, and production/development
• Serves as a day-to-day point of contact for clients on assigned projects
• Communicates clearly with clients regarding status updates, deliverable timelines, feedback, and revisions
• Tracks scope, deadlines, and risks across all assigned work
• Ensures all deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations
• Manages feedback loops, including collecting client input, communicating revisions internally, and ensuring updates are completed accurately
• Supports development of project briefs and execution plans
• Leads smaller projects independently from kickoff through delivery
• Builds working relationships with client stakeholders at a tactical level
•  Identifies incremental growth opportunities within existing work, including additional deliverables, optimization opportunities, and expanded campaign elements
• Asks questions to uncover additional needs, gaps in execution, and opportunities for improvement
• Suggests enhancements to campaigns, deliverables, or workflows
• Supports Account Managers in preparing for growth conversations, account reviews, and strategic planning sessions
•  Begins connecting execution to performance outcomes, campaign effectiveness, and client objectives
• Maintains visibility into active workstreams and emerging opportunities
• Supports onboarding of new initiatives and expansion work
• Able and willing to execute all duties and responsibilities for both account and sr. account coordinator roles, and the account executive role
• Growth & Account Penetration Expectations
• Contributes to account penetration plans through opportunity identification
• Supports execution of expansion initiatives and additional scopes of work
• Begins participating in conversations around additional services, new initiatives, and expanded campaigns
• Identifies signals such as increased client requests, new marketing priorities, and gaps in current programs
• Supports senior team members by providing insights from day-to-day execution, and highlighting opportunities surfaced through client interaction
• Expected to be proactive in identifying opportunities, engage in conversations that uncover new needs, support preparation and execution of expanded work and reduce client turnover

Experience & Skill Set

• Typically, 3–6 years’ experience (or equivalent experience) in a B2B marketing, advertising, or agency environment
• Exposure to 20–40 client programs or larger projects, with increasing responsibility over time
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and some small clients independently from initiation through delivery.
• Hands-on experience executing across multiple marketing disciplines, including digital campaigns (paid, organic, or hybrid), content and campaign execution, creative production processes, and website or landing page development support
• Strong working knowledge of campaign structure and execution, project management workflows, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience communicating directly with clients at a tactical level

• Proven ability to apply feedback and improve execution, take ownership of assigned projects, and contribute ideas and solutions, not just execution

Compensation & Benefits

Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. Salary range for this job is targeted at $60,000-$75,000+ based on experience, skill set and agency experience. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off the Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Our business is all about collaboration, so we do not offer work from home, but we do offer flex hours depending on the position and clients. Employees can start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM based on client demands and department structure.
