Awards & Events: manage recognition programs and support press events from concept to execution.
Project & Tech Ops: drive campaign roadmaps, budgets, and cross-team delivery using tools like Monday/Asana and AI drafting/research tools.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Media Relations: curate databases for media contacts, discover editorial leads, and draft pitches, alerts, and releases that secure earned placements.
Media Relations: build fresh angles and engage journalists and content creators for national coverage.
Media Relations: lead specialized affiliate and commerce-focused outreach and organize press interviews with briefing materials for spokespeople.
Awards: oversee client recognition programs through research, strategic advice, and deadline management.
Project Management: manage campaign timelines, roadmaps, budgets, and cross-team collaboration with weekly updates to stakeholders.
Technology & AI: integrate AI tools to enhance drafting, reporting, and research; evaluate new software and automate routine tasks.
Events / Activations: support the conceptualization and launch of virtual or in-person press events.
Collaboration: maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of PR agency experience in the consumer goods industry
Demonstrated project management experience managing timelines, deliverables, and multiple accounts
Comfortable using AI tools day to day with examples of how you've used them
Willingness to try new technologies and adopt new tools quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends

Preferred

Curiosity about new tools, AI, and technology and quick to try them to improve workflows
