We’re seeking a bright, strategic, and organized Account Executive or Assistant Account Executive to join our growing Washington, D.C. team. This role sits at the intersection of federal policy, clean energy, and strategic communications.

The position supports high-profile federal public affairs work, including tracking legislative developments, analyzing media and stakeholder sentiment, drafting client-ready materials, and contributing to fast-moving policy discussions. You’ll gain hands-on experience translating complex federal developments into clear, strategic guidance.

We are looking for someone sharp, collaborative, adaptable, and motivated by growth. A strong sense of humor, emotional intelligence, and a desire to build something alongside a close-knit team are essential.

You’ll work closely with the Associate Account Director and Senior Director in an entrepreneurial office that values proactive thinking, accountability, collaboration, and good humor. Only candidates residing in the greater Washington, D.C. area will be considered and at least 1 year of full-time, non-internship experience is required.

  • Assist in stakeholder research and mapping, identifying policymakers, agencies, advocacy organizations, and third-party influencers
  • Help maintain organized stakeholder and sentiment tracking systems (Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Contribute to slide development, reporting materials, and strategic planning discussions
  • Participate in client meetings and internal brainstorming sessions
  • Support new business research and proposal development as needed
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working on Capitol Hill, in a legislative office, a government agency, or a client services firm is a plus.
  • Working proficiency in Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms is preferred.
