Job Description
Responsibilities
- Hands-On Program Execution: Independently manage and execute standalone social and influencer strategy and programs, demonstrating deep expertise within each individual workstream (social, influencer, content, paid).
- Integrated Campaign Support: Contribute to and help lead integrated marketing campaigns that combine social, content, paid, and web efforts, ensuring workstreams are connected and mutually reinforcing.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key day-to-day client contact, building trust and rapport with marketing-level stakeholders, and confidently managing client conversations, not just executing as a practitioner.
- Client Needs & Insights: Partner with clients to understand business objectives, target audiences, and marketing challenges, translating insights into actionable social, influencer, and integrated marketing recommendations.
- Creative & Production Collaboration: Brief and collaborate with internal content, creative, and production teams, providing clear feedback and ensuring timely, on-brand delivery of assets.
- Team Support & Mentorship: Support senior leadership and more junior team members (including net-new managers) by providing guidance on social and influencer best practices and account management fundamentals.
- Project Management Oversight: Help manage day-to-day workstreams, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations, including those with regulatory or approval complexities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze campaign performance across social, influencer, and integrated efforts, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Sector Growth Support: Support health and tech sector growth by contributing subject-matter expertise to proposals and pitches as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across social, influencer, and integrated workstreams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in integrated marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in social strategy, influencer marketing, and/or integrated marketing within an agency environment, with a demonstrated ability to run standalone programs in at least one core discipline (social or influencer).
- Demonstrated experience working with health and/or technology clients; openness and ability to work cross-sector strongly preferred, given current business needs (deep specialization in only one sector is acceptable if paired with willingness to grow into the other).
- Proven, hands-on experience executing social strategy and influencer marketing programs, with working knowledge of how these connect to broader integrated campaigns (content, paid, web).
- Experience briefing and collaborating with creative (design) and production teams.
- Ability to manage client relationships and conversations directly, beyond a purely tactical or practitioner-level role.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
- Solid understanding of marketing analytics and ability to interpret data to inform recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to client success.
