Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior day-to-day client contact and strategic counselor- guide the client on communications strategy, reputation, launch planning, crisis moments, and cultural positioning.
  • Lead development of integrated communications plans from brief to measurement- earned, influencer, social, experiential, and partnership-led programs rooted in cultural insight.
  • Run account teams of 3–6, setting direction, assigning ownership, managing quality, and developing talent.
  • Own commercial health of the account- budgets, scopes, staffing, forecasting, profitability, and organic growth.
  • Drive new business- lead proposal development, build decks, participate in pitches, and help convert strategic opportunities into revenue.
  • Partner across the agency- creative, strategy, social, influencer, experiential, and production to deliver fully integrated campaigns that live in culture.
  • Build and maintain senior media and influencer relationships; show up for your accounts across industry events, cultural moments, and press opportunities.
  • Mentor Senior Account Managers and Account Managers; contribute to broader agency culture and craft.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of agency PR experience with consistent consumer lifestyle focus
  • Proven track record leading integrated campaigns for well-known consumer brands- fashion, sports, spirits, food and beverage, or adjacent
  • Sports or culture-led brand experience strongly preferred- major sports properties, music, or entertainment tie-ins
  • Demonstrated commercial ownership- you've managed account P&Ls, forecasted staffing, and grown existing business
  • Strong new business instincts- you like pitching, and you've helped win work
  • A publicly visible point of view- you read the trades, you follow culture, you can articulate what's working right now and why
  • Direct management of 3+ people; comfortable coaching and developing team members through promotion cycles
