Responsibilities

  • CLIENT CONSULTING & ACCOUNT LEADERSHIP: - Serve as the primary day-to-day client lead for digital shelf content and creative engagements. - Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across eCommerce, Brand, Marketing, Sales, Shopper Marketing, and Content teams. - Consult with clients on retailer content challenges and opportunities, translating business priorities into clear recommendations and action plans. - Guide client conversations on PDP content, search and discoverability, conversion-focused creative, content governance, and scalable ways of working. - Lead status meetings, planning discussions, project reviews, and presentations with clarity and confidence. - Anticipate client needs, resolve ambiguity, surface risks, and align stakeholders on decisions and next steps.
  • ACCOUNT PLANNING & GROWTH - Lead the development of scopes of work for digital shelf strategy, content optimization, creative production, and ongoing content programs. - Translate client requests into clearly defined deliverables, assumptions, revision parameters, timelines, resourcing plans, and pricing. - Partner with Strategy, Creative, Production, Program Management, Operations and Photography Studio teams to validate the approach and ensure scopes are achievable and profitable. - Manage scope boundaries and change requests, clearly communicating impacts to cost, timing, resources, and contracts. - Oversee budgets, forecasts, account profitability, and delivery performance across assigned accounts. - Identify opportunities to expand client partnerships by connecting business needs to relevant digital shelf and content capabilities. - Support the development and execution of client roadmaps, account plans, and growth initiatives.
  • CREATIVE PRODUCTION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP: - Orchestrate multidisciplinary teams across Digital Shelf Strategy, Discoverability, Copy, Design, Production, Operations, and Delivery. - Provide clear client and business context so strategy and creative teams can develop effective retailer content solutions. - Partner with creative and production leads to establish workflows, review paths, roles, responsibilities, and quality expectations. - Guide work from brief through final delivery, ensuring recommendations are implemented accurately and content is aligned to brief and retailer requirements. - Balance quality, speed, scale, and efficiency across multiple brands, retailers, deliverables, and concurrent workstreams. - Facilitate decisions and remove roadblocks, connecting clients with subject matter experts.
  • DELIVERY & ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE: - Maintain accountability for account health, client satisfaction, delivery quality, financial performance, and stakeholder alignment. - Partner with Program Management and Operations to oversee timelines, dependencies, resource planning, risks, and delivery status. - Monitor account performance and operational health, proactively addressing risks and dependencies. - Maintain accountability for account profitability, delivery performance, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, consulting, or agency environments, with direct responsibility for commerce content or digital shelf programs.
  • Demonstrated digital shelf knowledge, including experience with retailer PDP content, product content optimization, search and discoverability, and retailer content requirements.
  • Experience leading or partnering closely with copy, design, creative production, photography studios, program management, and operations teams.
  • Proven ability to consult with clients, shape recommendations, and translate complex needs into clear plans and decisions.
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing scopes of work, estimates, budgets, timelines, assumptions, revisions, resource plans, and change requests.
  • Experience serving as the primary client contact for large or complex accounts and coordinating multiple workstreams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands, retailers, deliverables, and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital shelf content for major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart, or other retailer platforms.
  • Familiarity with retailer content formats and workflows, including titles, bullets, descriptions, enhanced content, image carousels, brand stores, content syndication, and content governance.
  • Experience within CPG, retail, commerce, or an agency supporting scaled retailer content programs.
