Job Description

The Design Group is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our team! This position is primarily an in-person role. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent client experiences.

The Account Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both account management and project management, helping ensure client projects and tasks move smoothly from kickoff to completion. This position works closely with clients and internal teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with client goals.

We’re looking for a self-motivated and efficient team member with educational and/or professional experience in administration, customer success, account coordination, project management, or a similar role within the marketing, advertising, web development, or similar industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Support overall client success and client satisfaction across company accounts
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and professional relationships
  • Monitor multiple accounts, projects, and task statuses simultaneously
  • Communicate client needs clearly to internal teams and help coordinate project execution
  • Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams to ensure project progress and quality control
  • Input, assign, and track tasks, timelines, and due dates using project management tools such as Teamwork and ClickUp
  • Monitor project scopes, budgets, and timelines to keep work on schedule
  • Help manage administrative and organizational aspects of projects from kickoff through completion
  • Maintain and regularly update client assets and documentation in Google Drive and Teamwork
  • Manage reporting data and deliverables and monitoring project success

Ideal Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide thoughtful feedback and quality control
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Teamwork, ClickUp, Basecamp, or similar platforms
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable coordinating tasks and delegating work across internal teams
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of computer literacy (Google Drive, Dropbox, project management tools)
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Account coordination, project coordination, or administrative experience
  • Educational background in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Experience in the marketing/advertising/web development/tech/PR industries ideal
