We are seeking a part-time 3D Printing Tutor for 8 hours per week. Compensation is $35 per hour. This is an in-person position. In this role, you will educate and mentor one child on the principles and practical applications of 3D printing. Responsibilities include developing instructional materials, delivering engaging lessons, guiding students in operating 3D printers, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to help them master 3D design software and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D printing, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 3D printers
• Proficiency in 3D modeling/design software such as TinkerCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
• Strong teaching, mentorship, and communication skills
• Knowledge of materials science related to 3D printing, including filament types and properties
• Ability to develop and deliver structured educational content and lesson plans
• Tech-savvy with problem-solving skills related to hardware and software issues
• Previous teaching, training, or workshop facilitation experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Engineering, Design, or Education
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working remotely
