Description:

We are seeking a highly creative 2D Animated Storytelling Creator who can craft engaging, narrative-driven educational videos that simplify complex STEM concepts through animation. This role is not just about animation, it’s about telling powerful stories visually. You will transform real-world STEM topics into compelling animated experiences that captivate middle and high school audiences.

You will produce short animated videos (2-5 minutes) that:

1. Begin with a strong hook (mystery, question, or real-world problem)
2. Use storytelling to build curiosity and engagement
3. Visually explain concepts through animation (not just narration)
4. Deliver a clear and memorable “aha” moment

Requirements:

1. Create high-quality 2D animations that explain STEM concepts
2. Use motion, transitions, and visual metaphors to enhance understanding
3. Design simple but effective characters, scenes, and motion graphics
4. Develop or adapt scripts into compelling animated stories
5. Structure videos using storytelling flow: Hook → Problem → Exploration → Insight → Conclusion
6. Simplify complex topics while keeping them accurate
7. Sync animation with voiceover (provided or self-recorded)
8. Ensure pacing matches storytelling rhythm

Qualifications:

1. Strong 2D animation skills (After Effects, Blender 2D, Toon Boom, or similar)
2. Proven ability in storytelling through animation
3. Interest or background in STEM (engineering, science, math, or tech)
4. Ability to simplify complex ideas visually
5. Experience creating content for YouTube or educational platforms

Compensation:

1. Part-time, project-based role
